By working together, we can help you address the unique challenges that come with parenting, from sleep deprivation and feeding struggles, to navigating the world of solid foods and beyond. Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge, tools, and support you need to thrive as a family, so that you can enjoy the joys of parenthood without the stress and overwhelm.

Meet Kate BaRRY

Lactation Consultant and Registered Nurse

I am a Registered Nurse and Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, raising two beautiful girls in Christchurch alongside my husband.

My whole life I have been baby obsessed and now have found the perfect job working with families to meet their feeding goals. During my time working on the Neonatal unit I adored being able to work alongside mothers to help them learn to breastfeed as well as helping with expressing and bottle feeding.

I believe in a not one size fits all approach, but rather finding solutions that are going to work for your family. How you choose to feed your baby is up to you, I believe in no judgement. Breastfeeding and feeding in general isn’t the smoothest ride for everyone and I am here to help ease the transition and smooth the bumps in the road and find solutions together.

Meet Tessa Scott

Registered Nutritionist

My name is Tessa Scott and I’m a Registered Nutritionist with the Nutrition Society of New Zealand as well as a Registered Natural Medicine Practitioner through the Natural Health Practitioners of New Zealand, based in Dunedin, New Zealand.

I am mum to a bubbly one-year-old, who really sparked my interest in infant and toddler nutrition. It’s so important that our wee ones get the best start in life, so supporting parents to provide good nutrition and teach their children good habits is an area that I’ve become really passionate about.

I became interested in nutrition and naturopathy when I had my own issues with severe reflux and ongoing anxiety caused by stress. I also lost my mother to breast cancer in 2009 and this considerably changed my way of thinking about disease and healing in the body.

I wanted a more holistic approach to health and wellbeing that could sit alongside Nutrition.

I am currently studying my final year in Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy which will allow me to practise as a naturopath alongside my nutrition.
